Coronavirus statement

Over the coming months, it is understandable that many people will be worried about the global spread of COVID-19. We know that the virus will be with us for some time, so it is extremely important that we all work together and follow Government advice to support those in our families and communities who are most at risk.

During this time, whilst we are encouraged to practice social distancing for the health and wellbeing of us all, I have decided to postpone all constituency visits until further notice. I will of course continue to respond to all casework and endeavour to help any of my constituents who contact me with their individual issues and concerns, however, in order to try and slow the spread of the virus I will not be holding constituency advice surgeries.

Information and advice will continue to change over time as we respond to the changing nature of the spread of the virus. We have got to take the appropriate measures at the right times to ensure that we protect our population and reduce the strain on our NHS. It is important that you keep checking the Gov.uk  webpages to stay informed about how to keep yourself and others safe and well.

I know that this is a difficult time for everyone and I look forward to our Country coming out of this, strong and united.
