On Friday local MP James Cleverly attended Notley High School to listen to Martin Cosser speak with raw honesty about the true horror of knife crime. Not statistics, not headlines, but the real human cost that families like his know far too well.
Charlie’s Promise was created in memory of Martin’s son Charlie, whose life was stolen by a knife attack. No parent should have to face what Martin’s family did. Through powerful education, community outreach, and youth support, Charlie’s Promise is working to stop another senseless loss.
Martin’s message is clear: knife crime devastates lives in an instant, and prevention must begin long before that moment.
All knife carriers can be reported to Fearless.org. A safe space to speak up about crime -100% anonymous. Always.
